...but instead of 30% it is only 10%. And it still has to be activated on a consumer rate plan. I will continue to use my Pearl until a can use iPhone as my COU

Yea I read that too, great phone won't be buying one until I can use it on my COU or even my ERP and ill even pay for the data portion but I have a COU line as is and my two ERP lines that I dont even use, why pay for a consumer plan when im not even using the other two free lines available to me.

Well, that's just about useless and pointless. Keep waiting and maybe they'll loosen the noose a bit more.

Eventually, as all the people lusting for the iphone switch over, and only the lukewarm to the skeptical remain, we shall see appreciation. Those apple reps don't really care if a unit is sold, they don't make a dime. We get paid and are motivated to push them, to actually convince someone to buy it. In 6 months, Apple stores will be selling a fraction of what we will.

I asked about unlocking it and what not but have been advised to keep it off COU and ERP lines.

Are you serious? Now who's going to actually be approved for it. The Director of Sales sent out an email in my market that whoever sold 15 iphones and was top rep could get an iPhone but it had to be on a consumer account so I am not optimistic.

Well it is only for the service. You have to provide the iPhone for yourself...they won't provide you for it. In mid-October we'll get the iPhone for 10% off...

Uhm, if you look at the features on cor accounts, I believe that I had seen a data feature for the iphone. It's been a while since I looked, but check it out.
