V300 without sim (plane mode)?

My friend would like to give her old V300 as a toy for her young kid (just to play around and take pictures), but she wants to keep the SIM card for her own phone.

Is there any "plane mode" on the V300 or any other way to use the phone without a SIM?

try this seem edit. It may work.

SEEM 004a_0001/004b_0001

**all offsets are HEX**
**no bit manipulation here, just change the actual value in the offset**

offset 4D (00 SIM card NOT required for phone access, 01 SIM card required for phone access)
