does at&t have any rugged phones like the verizon G'zOne? i havent seen anything like this with at&t.

I'm not sure how rugged Casio's phone really is... but I deploy the majority of wireless phones at my job out to 'the field' and my choice is the Motorola V365. You won't find a better phone on AT&T right now that is geared for this type of use. I've been rather impressed how beefy it is, and my end users are really tough on their devices. Check it out.

I concur the v365 is the roughest thing going on AT&T right now.

No, it's not waterproof or resistant.

No such phone for AT&T exist.

Been looking,... Haven't found a decent waterproof GSM phone. That V365 wouldn't last 4 seconds in the hot-tub.
The Casio G-Zone at Verizon seems the way to go for poolside conversations.

Look around engadget for the W770r, it's a giant, beastly, tank of a phone. Due in early 2008.

Nextel has a couple of weather proof phones, other than those you are pretty much SOL. The phone from Verizon may be worth checking into, I have not ever heard of that one before, but I have heard that those two rugged Nextel phones are capable of standing up to anything!
