I have a Motorola V235 cellphone. I recently downloaded software to enable me to connect my cellphone to my desktop so that I could synchonize my phone numbers and upload and download pictures. I had no problem with my phone number list but when I tried to download pictures to my phone I got an error message that the cellphone had disconnected from the mainframe. The wire was still plugged in and there was nothing wrong with the cable. When I asked the software manufacturer about this is comments were as follows:
"Not all functions work on all phones, You can go to the official Motorola phone tools web site for a lot more info. Some cell phone have functions turned off. It's not the software that will not work. Yes you can turn all these functions on, read more about how to at cell phone forums. Also cell phone how to's /help." Can anyone help me with this problem?

I finally discovered that I had a bad cable and after replacing it the software worked fine.
