Samsung Sync Messaging

Um, I have a question about the messaging. It seems even with my 2 GB card and sim card that my messages act up. Around the 23 message they start saving to my phone and start coming slower. With the v3xx i had they saved to the phone and went up to like 120. Anything like this happen to someone?
