Nope I know what ram is, checked under about and it said avalible storage 0.41mb and memory = ram because its like memory.

I've got a ton of stuff installed to my storage card, here's what things look like right now under Memory Info (hold home key to get task manager, go to menu, memory info)

Memory - 27.0MB of 49.1MB used
Storage - 34.0MB of 54.8MB used
Storage Card - 262MB of 1908MB used

Use activesync to poke around your phone, maybe some log file is eating up all the space or something?

Your memory card sounds like its just full.

If your phone memory was full, then you wouldn't be able to run apps. You prolly have lots of programs open, but windows will close them down if you start running low.

There are 3 types of memory you could be talking about.
-RAM memory. Required to run programs
-Phone Storage memory. Used to save files to the actual phone. You can have programs installed here. Referred to "Device" when installing programs
-SD Card Storage Memory. External Memory used for storing and installing programs.

Power cycle the phone and see if the problem clears. If it does then you just have too many programs open. Perhaps delete some of your text messages from all your folders (Inbox, Sent, Deleted, Drafts, Outbox). Also Internet cache is stored internally. If you browse alot the phone can run out of memory.

If your speaking about actual physical memory card space... well just delete some of your crap off there or buy a bigger mircoSD card. Maybe you install lots of programs and never uninstall. Try doing some spring cleaning and see what you come up with.

Anyone? Sorry for bugging.

To be honest, even if you install all your 3rd part apps to the MSD card, you can still run out of system storage memory. Apps installed on the micro sd card will need a dynamic link to your system RAM to be able to be run, so the program will install a little information to your system ram.

Try going to mobile.surrealnetworks.com on your blackjack
Click programs for dash
and then download totalcommander
Install total commander to your microsd card
Open it and run through all folders on your system memory and see if they're any extremely large files (1mb and up)

If these are log files or tmp files, they are usally safe to delete. Also try a soft reset.

if you have SKTools Lite, try the "delete PIM information" option you can see how much memory contacts, msgs, calendar, etc.. are using and choose which area to delete
