i just bought a motorola l7c and i instaled the 'Self installing P2K drivers' and when i open p2k tools it tells me im connected on the bottom and has the green light but when i try switching from at to ptk mode or vise versa or add a file the program crashes. motomidman still tells said "unsupported platfrom.canot continue" and even when i try adding a file to the phone with p2k commander after i double click on the file to add to the phone the program crashes! i invested alot of money into this phone and its just no working with this stuff. does anyone have any idea whats wrong? help would be very much appreciated.

You can't use p2k tools with an l7c. the l7c is a cdma phone, and p2k tools is made for gsm phones, which is what the l7c is not. You have to use p2k commander, and that only works with the filesystem. You also have to find an older version of p2k commander (3.2.x) i believe, as the newer versions do not support cmda phones very well, if at all. also, when you get p2k commander, you'll have to have a software such as motorola pst or motorola software update running in the background to be able to successfully connect your phone.

i just downloaded p2k commander 3.2 but i dont get what u mean by pst i cant find a download for it could u give me a link? if u cant please tell me what to do if i find it. does it matter what version it is? will i be able to put java games on my phone with it? and are u sure thats the only program thatll work with my phone? no motomiman, p2ktools etc..

PST is considered warez sofware, you can't ask for it here. you need to get it yourself via torrents, p2p, etc. Otherwise, like i said, you can use motorola software update, which does the same thing, and you can get that from the motorola update site (search google and motorola's site to find it). And no, you can't put cames on an l7c. The only thing you can do with p2k commander is add/delete files from the filesystem.
