How long does it take you to drain a fully charged battery?

My last charge, I got 2 days 19 hours worth of usage time on standby before I charged it again (at 10% battery remaining).

How often do you guys recharge?

it lasted about 5- 6 hours..i totaly drained the bat...
the battery doesnt last too long its true but, i got to go on the internet most of the day on and off was on the phone a couple of times answered a few emails
went on you tube..and even listened to the ipod most of the day...
come on better than most phones i ever had..

how do you guys drain the battery in 6 hours?

I was at a friend's yesterday using wifi, and the battery ticked maybe like 10% after I used the iphone for like 3-4 hours...

my phone is stillr ather new (likea day old) but whenever i'm not using it, its docked, so its nice and charged.

Mine laster about 2 days before hitting the 20% warning once, this after about 9 hours total of web surfing, with the iPhone checking mail every hour.

I have noticed that having auto-brightness on helps a LOT. When I first got my iPhone and auto-brightness was off, the battery didn't last long at all. Once I turned it on, battery life increased dramatically.

Mine lasts all day with quite a bit of use, I find the battery life to be very good for what the device does and the usage I put it through. I've only have it for a week so I haven't tried going more than a day without hitting the cradle.

So this battery life is this after the 1.01 update? because my first phone didnt get half of what most you are getting after a full charge and 1.01 update. Now i exchanged and this phone without the 1.01 update has close to the same battery life. Both phones only lasted for about a day, and a day and a half with little internet use. I mean really my first iPhone with the 1.01 update I got around three hours and 17 minutes of use before I got the 20% message. This phone almost around the same, but I should test this one again just to make sure. Really what the hell am I having trouble just with my phones or what!?

Im just trying to understand here but how do you get 2 days with 9 hrs of internet usage??? I get a day just with about 4 hrs of safari use ( 45min of wifi and the 3hrs and 15 Min on edge)

Although i admit that i pretty much killed my iphone battery on the firs day (Forgot about the rule where you have to drain it before you do the first charge), i do still think that battery life is pitiful. for me, 30 minutes of web browsing takes a considerable chunk out of the battery indicator. safari is spectacular though. Sometimes I end up bringing my N93 and iphone when I go out.

don't think you have to do that drain all the way before the 1st charge thing anymore.
