ok guys well i recently purchased an 8525 from cingular i got it refurbished .. and right when i got it first thing i did was update the rom ... i put in the OFFICAL rom off the htc site .. not wm6 ..it took me a long time to figure it out cause it kept giving me crap but anywho i now been using this phone for about 3 weeks .. im very pleased with it .. except for a few things..1 its kinda slow when opening a application .. and 2 . which is the only thing that really angers me .. is that im not connected to the internet ..but for somereason 5 or 10 minutes after i disconnect ...IT Connects again.. to the internet .. and its annoying cause i dont wanna run my batterry down .by using extra crapp when im not even needing to ... i make sure that i dont have any other software.. like msn .. on but it still connects .. i had BANDSWITCH on there .. and it helped cause i could disable the connection to media net .. but i just uninstalled it and its still doing the same thing .. .. im on a mediamax bundle 200 plan .. and on another note why is it that ACTIVE synch is always on for my phone ..i got to my task manager in memoory and its always runing for some reason....by the way is there any software that you can recommend .. that usefull of fun ?

you can disable the auto connect feature...it's in ur settings..either under phone or in your connections tab. Also...Activesync is running all the time not jus on the HTC WM5 rom u have but on all the WM6 roms too..including the official AT&T WM6 rom...it's something that might have to be patched up soon...hope that helps
