Exchanged iPhone For New One Noticed Little Screen Difference

I exchange my iPhone and did notice a slight screen difference. I can see the dots on the screen more than my previous model, but its not extremely bad. I still have to look close to the screen and stare to see it but it is more noticeable. My previous model was a 7 series and my new model is a 7 series. So my point is that there is no difference between a 5 or 7 series. Also the screen is very bright as well.
