Hi,
i intended on getting the refurb blackjack for 99 dollars off att premier as an upgrade but they just recently dropped the price on the bb 8800 to 149. Is that a better deal?? I am not using data. I just need a reliable phone for my calender, contacts and general pda functions. thanks

You can get a NEW BlackJack on the regular site for $99 btw, priced the same as the refurb for some stupid reason. They've been doing that a lot lately.

yeah..but that is with 2 year contract pricing..this is for 1 year and no required data plan sign up

when I look at the site, they offer a refurb for $69.99 and a new one for $199.99

and the new $99 one with data contract

I called to try to get a better deal, the best they could offer was $99 for a new one without contract

I had considered getting a blackberry but I cannot use any thing without the blackberry plan so it would be cheaper to use the media max plan
