Is it normal for my iPhone to constantly crash while using the Internet and listening to music? Would it be possible to exchange my iphone simply because of this issue? Also, if I need new earphones can I get them for free from apple and how?

I have the same problem with my iPhone. Safari crashes often.

if you can showit to the apple genius, (or even the sales rep) youmight be able to pull of a new one if its still 1-2 days old prolly (or even 14 I gues)

Its normal for a buggy phone! Mine crashes constantly, (not since 1.0.2 but I've only used the phone for an hour since the update)

It's normal to have bugs with a 1st gen product, but I don't agree that you should be experiencing crashes constantly. It makes it sounds like your phone isn't stable at ALL and I don't think that's true for most users.

I've had mine since the Sunday of release weekend and I haven't had anything crash or mess up. Well, Safari closed on my once but it for some reason just does not like my bank website, and whenever I try to go to it, it closes that window out. Oh well, that I can live with, maybe it's a flash issue.

But I do not think that your phones should be crashing constantly. Every here and there is probably expected, but if you can't do anything without feeling like it's overworked, take it back and swap it out.

With Safari crashing, I think it has a lot to do with the websites that you're hitting with Safari.

XanderMac could be visiting something that regularly crashes his iPhone, while the rest of the folks aren't having that many problems with Safari because they're not hitting the same sites.

XanderMac, since yours does crash constantly (and that doesn't seem to be the same experience that most others are having with their iPhones), have you called AppleCare (or used their feedback link) and let the know about the sites that crash it???
