Any faceplates for the blackjack?(not the cover overs)

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Are there any that you have to take appart the BJ and replace the face plate? Would Love a metallic red one or fiery black one(flames on metallic black). Other BJ users would love some too I bet. I am hoping for ones with a protection coating after the original paint so it just doesn't rub off in my pocket or just by putting down or rubbing on a hard surface. Ones that have all the original button style and nothing changed just the color at&t logo and all if you can find it. When I search I get irrelevant searches.

Oh, possibly a clear one and a plain metallic black too. This si what I am talking about for the people who dont know,(not the one I wanted just a replacement for the regular BJ):http://cgi.ebay.com/Samsung-BlackJa...1QQcmdZViewItem

I am curious about this also. I broke the little rubber thingy that covers the charge port on mine.

I haven't seen anything like that yet, if you were a good artist/into that sort of thing I'm sure you could buy something like that ^^^ and do it yourself. Not for me though, so I'm interested to see if anyone turns up anything..

Anyone?

nope, been looking since November of last year, I figured with the poularity of the BJ someone would have made something by now, but I think it has to due with the fact that a housing swap on the BJ is not an easy process, I've only been able to find black OEM housings

Unless some one can shave off a few mm then paint it back to size? I mean like making the OEM plate thiner so the paint isn't grotesquely thick, just normaly size the buttons the same?, but how your you get the button numbers and symbols on? plus making them light up?.

Posted by: RCcola159

Thats the only way i can think of. The keys stick through the holes on the housing, so thats not problem.

I mean to make them match. Tape over the symbol part or number then paint??

Does anyone know where to get the standard battery door cover? I know Tito pointed to a complete set, but I don't want to pay that much just for the cover.

Look on ebay, I saw like 5 .

Maybe I'm slow or don't know how to search as good as you, but I've never been able to find them. Can you provide a link for me? Thanx!
