2125 backup procedure

I remember seeing instructions, a while back, on how to back up my 2125 to a 64MB card. But, of course, I can't find them anymore.

First off, does anyone still have those instructions? I want to try a cooked ROM for my phone, and I think it's prudent to do a full ROM backup, first.

Second, does it have to be a 64MB card, or can I use my 512MB miniSD card to do the backup? I hate to buy a card, special, for just this one use.

Thanks...

Does noone know this procedure? I found it, by happenstance one day, through Google...but can't find it again.

It involved a terminal program on my PC and a keystroke sequence on the 2125...it then backed up an image of the ROM to the 64MB MiniSD card. To restore, you essentially reversed the procedure. I remember a few details, but not enough to actually perform the procedure.

I am terrified of bricking my phone, but want the upgraded features in the newer ROM, so I want to do a backup first.

Help, please?
