You are comparing Apples to Oranges! Blackjack is a smartphone and ATT Tilt is a PocketPC Phone. I am pretty sure you already know that. It just depends on what you need. If you need a touchscreen, a bigger screen, a built-in GPS, more RAM/ROM then go for the ATT Tilt. If you are ok with features of Blackjack then go for it, instead.

To make my answer short, the "better buy" depends on what you need. My "better buy" may not be yours!

AT&T Tilt/Kaiser/8925 is a GSM phone so it will definitely have a SIM card slot. AT&T would not be selling this phone, otherwise. 8525, while I used it, was a great phone. I had it upgraded to WM6 and it worked perfectly. Two reasons why I am upgrading are GPS and more RAM/ROM. I had long been contemplating on buying a GPS and Kaiser/Tilt offers me that in one device.
