Has anyone been able to use bitmap with the Sanyo Katana 6600? I have a deactivated phone with a pile of pictures that my friend wants me to transfer to my PC for her. I've tried datapilot, won't recognize phone.
HELP!

I used BitPim not Bitmap with the 6600 before I got the new Katana II 6650.
Had no problems.

Sorry, wrong word, but I have the right program Bitpim. Just can't get it to recognize my phone. Katana SCP6600. Can't get Data Pilot to either.

If you were able to use Bitpim, what drivers did you use for the Katana? Susteen, or Sanyo. I have some from both.

i've come to the conclusion that it's the Data Pilot trial software that's crap. It won't recognize my phone. Will probably have to buy the full version to get it to work. And its not worth it because the phone is deactivated. My girlfriend couldn't pay her cell bill, but she would like to get the pictures off the phone.
The phone works as a modem, I queried the modem and it works fine, but the data pilot will not recognize my phone. Know anyone who would have the full version of data pilot I could use to get the pictures off the phone?

i got it to work on my old computer but now when i try it won't recognize my phone. Does anyone have the susteen cable download??? i've tried the website i got it from last time but the page won't load. infinitewireless.us/update.html and www.susteen.com/drivers/straight_cables.htm the new update for bitpim recognizes the katana but my usb won't load on my computer. it only charges the phone. any help???

I am a newbe to flashing phones butt I have some Katanya 6600 & Sanyo 8200 that I want to flash to the crickit network can anyone direct me to the firmware software instructions ect and last does any body know if there is new flashes that you can get the web& picture mail?
