i have one in the mail and i want to know if people are happy with it. I know it doesnt compare to the new phones out there but coming from a w810i how will it be. So if anyone has/had it please post your thoughts

I have the 2125, and love it. I had the Audiovox 5600 before that, so it was a natural upgrade for me.

The typical complaint about it is the antenna "hump" on the top and the weird power button. After a week, you won't even notice it. Other than that, it's a solidly built candybar phone with amazing reception in my area...better than most people's phones.

Sadly, I can't compare it to your w810i, because I've never had that one. I have played with one...helped a customer's son set it up. Seems like a very nice phone, but the capabilities of a Windows phone far outstrip those of a Walkman.

Only one...a WMV of Farscape clips set to Sweet Dreams (Eurythmics). Works great. There's a TINY bit of occasional pausing in full screen mode (Windows Media Player) if I have other applications running...but that comes from the processor and small amount of RAM. Should be the same on almost all HTC smartphones, as they all have virtually the same specs.

The sound quality is honestly shocking...remarkably good for such a small device. And, if you sit it on a desk, the entire surface will reverberate...sounds even better.

I don't use it primarily for media, though...it's more a business tool, for me.

Never done it...not even once. I have no data plan, whatsoever, and have no desire for one.

Text entry is tedious, and that includes URLs. But that's true for any phone lacking a full keyboard.

Thanks does anyone know how the explorer is no a CINGULAR 2125
