I know, oddly enough, that it's available on the T-Mobile Dash (because Microsoft's website links you to the download section of T-Mobile's website for the Dash which is a S621), but I'm not sure how to go about getting Windows Mobile 6 onto my Rogers-locked HTC S621.

If anyone could PLEASE help me out, it would be much appreciated.

you need to unlock your HTC both carrier and app.

after that you can upgrade or you can wait for a little more as I heard that Rogers will be releasing it soon.

if your HTC is still under warranty I suggest to wait, if not then go for it.

I am not going to even attempt it because mine is like 2 weeks old. Also, I heard that ppl are complaining about the WM6 ROM!

So I'm assuming the best thing to do is wait for the upgrade direct from Rogers. That way, I don't have to touch anything on the phone, and I'll have perfect peace of mind.

Any info on the rough release date?

I am not 100% sure but over at xda developers they are saying Sept/Oct...

unless someone here knows someone who works for Rogers Data or anyone can get hold of someone there then we can know for sure...

but yea, just wait until they release it...this way your warranty is not void and you will have peace of mind knowing that everything works
