Ok.. well i lost my bid on ebay on the htc s620.. so i'm about to win the t-mobile dash (not unlocked). i live in canada and i'm under the rogers network..

When I get this phone can someone give me a step by step guide on what i have to do to get it functioning.. (sim unlock, cid unlock, app unlock)??

And is there anyway to make text files/documents.. like write notes in class and what not...

And also how can I upgrade to the wm6

you can go to imei-unlock.com or something like that and it is like $40 to unlock it. or you can take it to a store here in toronto and get it unlocked or try your flea market.

and for the Dash, you can only view documents and not edit them.

you can definetly get it for cheaper. just look around your area and ask if they unlock this phone... and if all fails then you can always go on to that site.

there are office document editors out there such as documents to go you can view and edit all types of ms office files

i also purchased this phone online and need some help...its unlocked through t-mobile,and i called rogers to get the internet and mms settings. one guy gave them to me and said there should be no problem, then i called back and another guy said pda's with windows dont support mms so i wont be able to send or recieve! can anyone tell me if this is true? and how i can make it work?

Search here or xda-developers for a Rogers Settings.cab file, it will do all the work for you. And yes, you can use MMS somewhat, mine works but always says the message has expired, but I still manage to get the picture.
