W810i Rogers to Cingular proceedures?

I'm not sure what files I need or if it's possible to get this phone on the right firmware.

I have XS++ and it connects fine. I removed the Rogers F/W so the phone wouldn't respond when power is pressed then tried a few flashes suggested by a wide variety of boards - these being the primary 2 I have been working with:

W810_R4EA031_MAIN_CINGULAR_HN_RED49.mbn
W810_R4EA031_FS_CINGULAR_RED49.fbn

but I always end up with the annoying "configuration" error. It plays my mp3s tho just fine!!!

Am I missing something? I would appreciate any enlightenment.

When you flash this phone. you need to customize the phone according to the flash version. I dont know how you flashed the phone but you should have option to run " Customize " in there.

When I initialize my connection to the phone from XS++, I get the following:

OTP CID: 49
EROM CID: 49
EROM color: Red
IMEI: 35906100xxxxxx
Phone: W810
Operator: CINGULAR
CDA: CDA102494/72 R8A
Firmware: R4EA031

Here is my question, do I need to use the CDA reported by the phone or do I use a different CDA? XS++ doesn't seem to have the correct one for my phone but I could be wrong (which is more that case). Anyways, thanks for your response and hope you or others can help me through this.
