Existing ATT Customer...new credit check???

I am an existing ATT custormer. If I buy a new iphone do I have to go through credit checks again if I am simply activating the phone and adding the data plan to my existing plan???

I believe they will run your credit (as part of the activation proccess), but it gets pulled from an internal DB since you are already a customer. I don't think they can ask for a deposit, etc. once you've already established service.

no they will not, i was worried about the same thing...you just buy the phone go home and activate it on itunes ..no credit check

yes they do but the itunes program does not ask for it..just the number and last four digits of the social on the account

Existing customers do not have a credit check but if you add a new line you do because it is new service.
