I never use the keypad and it recognizes my handwriting very well, could be a bit better but I am not complaining. Hoping the voice upgrade helps with voice commands too.

How much thinner would the XV6700 be if it had no keyboard?

Would be great to make a totally touch screen phone with the handful of require buttons........ and increased size of control or command buttons for stylus free use

the buttons at the corners and edges are a bit too small to hit with fingernail consistently

and the contacts....... along with similar lists........ could use a little help

so it glitches a bit more than my desktop pc

I can live with it and really I'm impressed it's a stable as it is

HTC Touch... it's basically a Mogul/PPC-6800 without a keyboard and an iPhone-ish interface. Sprint's the only one that has announced it for CDMA... no word about Verizon or Alltel yet.

I'd rather have a real keyboard like the 6700 then a touchscreen one like the iphone.

yeah but I have never used the 6700 keyboard and have zero use for it at all........

and even with me never using it, the slide lock mechanism is already starting to become vague and iffy

now I want touch screen only in a phone I can use world wide
