Yes. Someone confirmed it using software in the Quad Band thread.

Imagine you had a bad *** looking bike that everyone of your boys was jealous of but it was slow as hell. You wish you could ride it everyday, but you know it just cant be done.

This is like the Touch. It is awesome but I am in a heavy 3G area where I live and work. I get 3G most of the day and it was hard to go backwards, it really was. Almost to where it was painful. If I lived in an area that wasn't 3G and I didnt miss it so much, I would have kept it.
