Palm 755p Visual Aids

I ordered this phone from the Palm Store as an upgrade to my 650. However, I notice the status light is absent. I use Butler with my 650, so if anyone would like to volunteer some info about the use of this application and the 755p, please do so here. Are you using the blinking feature on Butler? How are you alerted in terms of missed calls, phone charging status, VM, etc...God, I guess I'm spoiled...
I apologize if this has already been brought up before. I didn't see anything in the 2 pages here.
