Treo 750 - Which is faster, WM5 or WM6?

Basically, I had my first Treo 750 for less than a day before I put the WM6 ROM on it. So I got used to WM6 w/o really giving WM5 a chance.

Then, the touchscreen on the phone died. It just wouldn't work at all, even after pulling the battery for 24 hours. So I took it back to the store (I'm still within 30 days) and they gave me a new one.

The phone is the same, basically... only much nicer. The buttons are a little softer, with more texture and the phone seems much faster. However, I left WM5 on it and haven't installed WM6 yet.

So basically, I don't know if there is some hardware difference, or if it's the OS.

You know you posted in the Palm OS forum. You will get much better feedback in the Windows Professional forum. I think that WM6 is much more responsive and faster.

Well, I figured I'd get a better (more accurate) result if I asked the question for the specific phone. I keep hearing WM6 is faster, but it was much slower for me. I'm wondering if it was a particular program I installed on the phone...

I guess I'll just wait for the official AT&T release....
