Email Password Change???

One at a time (three times so far), my Pearl is getting a message from RIM that a particular email account password is not valid. I go to the BIS setup and it won't allow the password to be changed to the correct one. I can delete the account, then recreate it with the password and no problem. Funny thing is, the password has not changed, but RIM thinks it has. Is this happening to anyone else? I'm in central Arkansas, if that matters.

it's happening to me. i haven't changed my password, and i can't recreate the account without errors, i'm so frustrated right now!

happened to me yesterday.....on my yahoo account but not gmail.

Deleted the yahoo and set it up again and all is well.

I am new to BB.....is this a regular thing or something strange going on?

Marty, I've only had a BB since last Dec, but this is the first time this has happened to me, not a regular thing.

I am hoping it is a fluke.....all in all, it was easilt fixed. I know I have been getting e-mails about security settings changing at Yahoo (had to change Firefox settings).....maybe that freaked things out.

it's a known issue with yahoo and rim. it should be resolved now, try and revalidate or remove and readd the account in the bis.
