how do you set up different ringer IDs on the razr v3? i know it's supposed to be able to have this feature but i can't find it anywhere in the menus. can anyone help me please? Thank you

check the phonebook. I believe its an option you can set as the person's options if you set the location to the phone.

First the phonebook entry in question must be stored in phone mem, not SIM, then EDIT it and there should be a RingID field prominently displayed.

how do you store the phonebook entry into the phone and not the sim? i have no idea where it is stored.. how do i find out?

when you enter a new contact, it should give you the choice of saving to sim or phone.

but itsn't that kinda dumb to save it to the phone instead of the sim, because if you ever switch phones, you wont be able to copy over the numbers right?

Guessing the logic is, u maybe switching to a phone wo ringID capability.

it's because the sim has very limited memory capacity.
