8525 storage card issues with camera and wmp

I'm having a couple issues with the TF card in my 8525. First is the camera. When I designate the TransFlash card as the preferred storage device for photos, after taking the photos, they are nowhere to be found. When I use the phone's memory, I can always recall the photos.
The other trouble I'm having is with Windows Media. When I play mp3's off the TF card, I can't use the controls to switch tracks, or move up one song iin the playlist. In order to pick a new song while one is playing, i have to go into File Explorer and manually pick a song . What's up with that?
