8707 available on AT&T?

I have a list from work that says the 8707 is available from Cingular (it's an older list). I only see the 8700 on the AT&T website. Can anyone tell me if the 8707 is available through them? I'd prefer it over the 8700c for the tethered modem capability.

AFAIK, the 8707 is only available in Europe and maybe Japan and Singapore, as it is only GPRS compatible here in the US. A bit worthless, I'd say.
