Hi i just got my iphone. There's no instruction on what first to do with the iphone. What do i need to do to keep the batter life good? Do first charge it fully? What is the best pc software to activate this?

No instructions? Did you open the box?

Charge it. Use iTunes to Activate it. It's pretty straight forward.

my was refurbished. It has the booklet saying Finger Tips. I'm gonna do a hack to it, either SW or HW. Should i upgrade it to 1.02? And what is the best software to activate without going through AT&T

Ok, lets translate your first post because you weren't clear. You bought an iPhone and you want to use it without activating on at&t and just use the iPod and whatever else functionality? So you bought an expensive video iPod?

i just want to get it ready for the sw or hw hack. I want to activate the phone, and my quesiton is what software to use for it if i have a pc. and I can't seem to upgrade to 1.02 without activating it first.

he just wants to be able to use it on t-mobile. I don't think you can do anything until you actually get the phone unlocked then activate it on the carrier side.
