How can I tell if my warranty replacement 8525 is a refurb?

Can someone let me know? It didn't come in a replacement box or anything. They sent just the phone, but it doesn't say refurb anywhere on it. I remember a long time ago the insured ones would receive refurbs and the warranty replacements would receive new ones? What's the deal now?

It didn't come in a box? What did it come packaged in? Refurbs are typically in a white box.

it should say something on the back its a sticker under the battery with weird words and letters like dock2aF3 kinda thing that way you will know its a cingular certified refurb

Nope. They shipped it in a brown cardboard box with just an airpack and the return labels. That's why I was unsure, but it acted up in 2 weeks so it's probably refurbed anyway.
