anyone know if MPT works with the Razr 2?

It works. The phonebook sync/backup doesn't work at the moment but it recognizes the phone and allows data connections. I assume better support will come with the next MPT update.

Phonebook backups work with the V9, does it work just as well with ringtones?

Former verizon user here, so I'm used to having to jump through hoops to get ringtones on a phone.

I would have to guess that ringtones would work just fine, I have not added one on that phone yet, but I did add ringtones to the A737's with out issue.

All I had to do was make sure that the file size was no more than 300kb and they went right on.

Oh and I feel yout Verizon pain, as you can see I was once with them too, I am loving AT&T all together we have 6 phones with them.

This part is very much correct; MPT will transfer any mp3 ringtone to the phone that is under 300kb or not a CBR320 file.

What is a CBR320 file? Sounds like a motorcycle.
