Help! RAZR V3 not powering on

Hi,

I have a black RAZR V3 phone and the battery needed to be charged so I plugged in the adapter and the phone blinked couple times and that was it. I did not see any battery charging indicator but I left it overnight hoping it will charge but in the morning I checked and it was not powering on. I have tried taking the battery out and reinserting but no luck. I also tried the USB cable and no luck. The phone is not powering on at all.

Any help is appreciated.

I'm having the same problem! My phone is v3i Violet Razr with Euro-power and adapter for house charging. I tried charging first in car, no indicator lights even came on, then in the house, same thing. However, when I press power button on, keypad does light for about 2 seconds.

Help us, PLEAZ!!!!!

FYI, I found this site after posting...I'm hoping it will restore my phone to working condition even if I lose my data...

Thanks for the reply. I tried all 4 options in the link but no luck.

Now I am downloading the Motorola Service Tools and will try to see if I can get it to work with it.

Before you use any of that software, I also found the exact same site for the v3i, just put in "i" after the 3. The start page has all the newest software. I am running Vista to make matters worse, so I have to find RSD Lite 3.8 somehow....
