GD55----dust settling behind the screen?

My phone started accumulating dust behidn the screen all of a sudden. But the phone was never dropped nor the housing taken apart (it doesnt come off??)

weird..

anyone with similar experience?

I have the same thing on my V205 external screen. But it only started when i changed the face plate.

but there's no way to take the screen off to clean it out!

i dont want a phone 6 months down the road the screen unreadable

i't easy.. just buy one of those can office duster..
blow it inside the earpiece and here you go!
those are only like 5 USD per can

I don't think that's gona do it, the dust will just go somewhere else in the phone or not move at all

I saw somewhere about these specialty cloths (dry) that are used to remove dust and fingerprints.

Could you post pictures of the dust. Over a month quite alot has accumulated in mine (V205)

My GD55 and other phones collects dusts/lint only when I put it in my pants pocket. Try using a clear case over the phone, it may make the phone look not as good, but at least it'll help keep the phone protected. Personally I don't use it because it distort the look of the phone, so I just wipr the phone clean once a day.

I think the may be coming in from the corners of the top screen. So maybe if i take the dust spray and spray it in the area it should clear the screen inside. I will try this tomorrow, i hope it works.

sorry, it's a bit hard to see.

but most of the dust accumulated right above the "Panasonic"

when the phone is unlocked it goes Fido

when I keypad lock, it goe Microcell automatically.

I'm trying to figure out how to cahnge the frickin banner. you think i actually want it there?

On my GD55 i have the CAN-370 banner!

I got the "dust spray can" sprayed around the external LCD, and dust seemed to move around away from sight. With this I learned that there is a small corner of the screen that is not competely sealed, and thats where I am guessing the dust is coming from. I will look later at a way to seal this
