How to put custon ringtones on LG8600 (Telus not verizon)

hi guy im completely new to this hacking thing and ive tried to put a custom ringtone on my LG 8600 (telus) and i cant seem to find a way to do this. and i dont have the usb cord BUT i have the microsd adpater...i need help so if u guys can help with this id apperiate it thanks.

you can buy a usb cord, and use bitpim.
