Will Krzr K1m play aac files in VIVO music player?

I just noticed, that, since I have flashed to the Alltel f/w, I can now play raw aac audio files (not m4a wrapped) using my Krzr K1m's "Sounds" application!!! yay! But... the same aac files don't show up in the "MP3 Player" (cuz they aren't "MP3s", I suppose

).

Since (according to the V3m VIVO wiki), VIVO has a "Drastically better music player" on the V3c, maybe it does for the K1m as well? Does anyone know if the VIVO music player plays aac files?

And sorry if this was addressed in one of the "superthreads" with hundreds of pages of posts. Would be nice if I could search within the superthread to at least get me to the right page.
