ever since i upgraded to wm6 media player has been rotating all videos to landscape. this makes no sense since the dash screen is square. its really annoying and i cant find an option to change it.

also i prefer to use TCPMP for everything but again since i upgaded to wm6 a lot of videos dont give me the option of opening up in TCPMP and i get an error on most of them saying "audio codec (windows media audio) not supported by player".

if someone can help me with either of these thats be awesome

Here's the fix:
go TO
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\GDI\
Create a Key called ROTATION, if it doesn't exist,
Create a DWORD called LandscapeMode give it a value of 0

The final registry key is
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\GDI\ROTATION \LandscapeMode=0

NOTE: Try using "4" instead of "0" in the landscape mode value. if it doesnt work

ANOTHER NOTE: i used 0 as the value and i get a landscape full screen image. and i used Phm registry editor to make all the edits...

that looks really complicated. do i need a registry editor? is that what thats all about?
