Looks to be backordered to the 17th though (gee wonder why). Cool thing is there is an option to buy it outright for 500 bucks, nice.

amazon got for 175

nice although it seems walmart is safer for some reason (contract stuff).

Walmart? Why? IMHO, you have to be a masochist to buy anything more complicated than toilet paper there, let alone a new phone. What do you save, 4 bucks? Is it really worth the potential hassle of having to deal with the usually clueless folks there?

save 4 bucks?? hmm, it was 149 at the cingular store at the time, i think I only paid 38 for it at walmart......kind of a no brainer... its now free online (among others), 28 in store locally... You can also order phones from their site with no contract... **** does it matter it came from walmart lol?

How does the return experience at Wal-Mart compare with dealing with ATT, since Let's Talk is the actual merchant and not Wal-Mart ? ATT is 30 days but Let's Talk is 30 days or less than 30 min talk time to exchange or a 7 day or less than 30 min talk for a money back guarantee. You also have to mail the unit in. Pita or do they make it easy? Is the policy the same if you buy the phone in store? http://walmart.letstalk.com/about/shipping1.htm#30day

I would imagine it shouldn't be too big of a deal, it being in relation to walmart or actually being in walmart. Those large stores tend to be pretty good with returns/exchanges. IME

If you deal with an actual walmart store, you don't get the same hassle as you would online/lets talk. I got a sync for my girlfriend this weekend for free at wally world when it would have been $100 on att.com.

you guys fine w/ standing in the serpentine lines at wal-mart, what ever rocks yer boat. but, nothing like supporting a co. that exploits it's workforce and gives skimpy-to non existent bennies. but, that's another topic.

I have never seen a line at the Wal-Mart wireless center...

Maybe he meant the return line at the front ??? I personally really could care less about standing in a line for ten minutes as long as I'm able to return the phone if I decide to.

Wal-Mart cellular return policy(in store) 15 days, no questions asked, with original receipt.

My wife bought her blackjack at walmart for $78 when all AT&T stores wanted $179.99.

Thats a no-brainer.

You can waste your money for the same product somewhere else, then. You are not going to get anywhere close to the price difference worth of "extra service" from any other location.

If I didn't have Premier, I would 10000% buy my phones from Wal-Mart.

Please, premier is a joke.

They probably have a deal with walmart to give them all their handsets that didn't meet quality standards.

You can give me a better place to upgrade my month every month if I wanted to and never extend my contract?

Find out if your corporate store will match Wal-Mart's price.

"Upgrade my month every month"? If you mean getting a new phone at upgrade price every month w/o signing a new contract, please do explain??

I can upgrade my line every single month with Premier. I still have my original contract end date. You say Premier is a joke, so I want to know where I can do better.

Posted by: CyberMoto

No contract price $500. I called CS the other day. They told me the phone without contract $700. But Wallyworld $249 with contract update.

Posted by: zephxiii

700? lol!

I think almost every corporation has a different contract with AT&T concerning Premeire. For example, mine is nowhere near as good a deal as many others' I hear about. I just bought three new phones and service lines and checked out Premeire, pretty thoroughly. I ended up with a much better deal through Walmart.com / Lets' Talk.

Some of the phones even cost more through Premeire than they do to anyone on the general AT&T Wireless website! I agree, at least for my company's deal, Premeire is a joke.

semi off topic:

so with the V9 for sale now, when do you guys think the v3xx will drop to free with 2 year renewal at walmart? my cheap parents need new phones (LG C1500 )

Posted by: irockash

Prices are cheap, service sucks. Shouldn't be a problem for anyone posting over here though. But sales reps at other stores do get aggravated when you show up with problems mentioning you bought it at wal-mart.
