I searched this forum but couldn't find this subject matter.

I have a Razr V3 that I just received about 90 days ago. Been fairly satisfied with most features, but today it developed static in the "ear piece".

I'm not sure if that is the proper terminology for the small hole the sound comes out of, but it is not a blue tooth earpiece. Just the sound hole that is built in the phone.

I plan on taking it to the local store tomorrow.....but past experience has shown that to be a rather fruitless endeavor.

I tried "rebooting" but no improvement. Just still poor sound quality, almost like a blown speaker type static.
