So, I just got an iPhone yesterday for my birthday, and I'm trying to decide whether to port my T-Mobile number or get a new one. If the new one sucks, I won't do it. I know that with in-store activations, you're usually given a list of ten or so numbers and you can choose the one you wish.

Does iTunes activation do this, or am I just given the first one it spits out?

You can't choose number on the itunes activation.
I say you'd better off porting your tmobile number
