need to replace phones

I am wanting to buy 2 phones -

1st is for Senior using a Nokia 6340i on GoPhone (had simple Nokia 1200? TDMA previously). Candybar or Flip okay. Simple interface (Nokia probably better than Moto) --- didn't like the C139 that came with her move from Free2Go to GSM GoPhone. --- basic phone, that has reasonable keys and readable screen. Is there a GSM version similar to the old TDMA Nokia 3560? I think this might work well for her. No need to text or for camera though I think it might actually be good for her to have camera...if I could teach her how to use it for documentation.

2nd is for post paid plan. Have used mostly Nokias on TDMA and now GSM. Last TDMA phone was the Nokia 3560, followed by the GAIT Nokia 6340i, and now the Moto V551-Blue unlocked old AT&T version (Volume cuts in and out, and I don't like the Moto interface). I think I am starting to prefer the flip form, but would consider candybars. I would like camera, and bluetooth, but don't plan on using much TXT or any data. Handsfree/Speakerphone/1 touch dialing good. Tip calculator a plus (I liked that on the Verizon LG I tried briefly).

Need recommendations on phones and where best to buy without contract....

TIA

as for a senior, im assuming you mean senior citizen. I just got my mother in-law a Samsung SGH-X520. She is almost 60. She likes it because she says its simple to use, and has keys that work well. Also that she can see large numbers. Its not a features phone, it has no external display and only a VGA cam, which she doesnt use. It was cheap, but one thing, its Euro triband, but for where she lives in NJ, that works fine for her. Check what bands you really need for that phone.

The second phone, is going to be released soon and that is the Nokia 3500 Classic, its a candybar, but looks real nice and has those features you seek.

look around there are many sites that have competitive prices.

60 isn't senior these days ;-) -- I'm talking late 80's ;-) She would need both US bands -- wouldn't get anything that didn't have both bands -- I'll check out the 3500 Classic.

Thanks

Darn, when will the 3500 Classic be available? This seems like the ideal "basic" phone, but with Bluetooth. I would have much preferred this phone over the Pantech C150 which I recently got for my wife..... completely on par specification-wise, but with the Nokia quality I'm used to. Maybe I'll still be able to sell the Pantech and get this one, if the 850MHz becomes available soon! Or is it already?
