Hey all i just downloaded books from Installer but how do i put books in the iphone and where? and where do i get the books from? does that program read regular TXTs too?

The books app only reads html and .txt files. you can find a lot of free text books here:
www.gutenburg.org
or
http://manybooks.net
The latter here even has a drop down option that will specifically format the books for the iphone, the book app in particular, with cover art sweet.
To get the books on the phone you have a few options you could use the iShare app, and sign up for sendspace.com and then you could just upload your .txt or .html from your computer to sendspace and then dl to your iPhone. I prefer to use ssh and ftp.
Place the folder or files in ~/Media/EBooks, fire up books and you're all set!

You need to navigate to the existing media folder, for the ROOT user (not at the root of the phone.
When I login via an SFTP app (transmit or cyberduck) is starts at the correct directory.
