I installed it a couple of days ago and it works great. I was having an issue with viewing YouTube videos form the site but easily fixed that problem. I love the update the phone is ALOT more responsive than before.

I have not been able to play anything on YouTube since I got the 6700. Would you mind telling me how you accomplished this? I've tried a few tricks I've read about online, but none worked.

I'm not on my laptop, but here is the link to where I explained it in another forum. Hope this helps

Jucyboot, if you can already load the main YouTube site without issue then you don't need to worry about the REG files. All you'll need is the TCMP player and the FlashVideo plugin.

Did the upgrade - Glad I did - more features, programs, games etc, One question: Without removing the other features that come with this today screen how do I shrink that damn HUGE digital time display? Thanks!

I am having a problem as that when I recieve a text message it does not show a reply address anywhere. has anyone had the same problem?

hey guys what about custom 6700 buttons etc is there anything that doesnt work with the update or does it work as if itd been made for it bc i cant raelly complain about wm5 but apparently alot of ppl think its worth it, - - does it mess up the phone in any way if not to proceed with the upgrade

If anything the phone works better with the upgrade. the only thing that irritates me is that the extrom is visible and lots of stuff defaults to it as removable storage instead of the sd card.

that and if you called verizon for help they'd probably tell you to piss off and say you'd just voided your warranty and they won't support the phone either.

Try this hkey_local_machine/system/storage_menager/auto_load/trueffs_doc1/ change =bootphase DWORD data to 1 from 2 . Then go back to hkey_local_machine/system/storage_menager/profiles/trueffs_doc1/mounthidden/change DWORDdata to 1 from 0 base should be check to DEC. format . reset after finish ,not hard reset then extended rom should be hidden..... i use resco registry edit to do that...
