Motorola BT Headset Prob

recently went out and bought a Motorola H700C bluetooth headset for my Blackjack i600V. I've connected and bonded both the deviced but now having the slight following probs:
1. When I press button on headset to answer, calls takes about 5 secs to connect to the other end/user.
2. Sound of voice from other side is crackly and will only become clear after
say 8 secs or so.
3. I'm not sure what verssion of BT does the BJ use, is it 2.0 or 1.1 ?
4. I thought the H700C was meant to be one of the best headsets from
Motorola and on the market but to say the least I'm but dissapointed.
Any suggestions ?
PS Sorry just like to add if anyone else here is having the similar problem?
Also forgot to ask, but can the firmware in the Motorola H700 be upgarded ?
