Software Upgrade-Moto Q

I have been trying to install the software upgrade on my Q (Alltel). I have downloaded and run the software upgrade program from Motorola. Everything starts out fine, but when the upgrade gets to 24% it abruptly stops with an error message ("upgrade was not successful.."). This has happened every time I have tried the upgrade. Is there something else I should be doing? Anyone have any ideas?
