This was working fine and I don't know what happened to cause the trouble. It may be something I have set but so far I can't figure it out.
Here is what is happening: When I voice dial either through Bluetooth or the handset normally what happens is.
1. The phone prompts you to "Say a Command" and I say Voice Dial
2. Then the phone prompts you to "Say the Name"
3. Then if there are multiple numbers for that name in the address book the phone will prompt you for the number. Such as Home, Mobile, Work, etc.
The problem I am having is for item 3 above. Even for entries I have stored in the address book with multiple numbers, the phone will not prompt me to Say Mobile, Work, or whatever. It simply at step 2 just dials the first number which is normally the Home number. It will not prompt me for which number to dial.
As I said above everything was working fine. Any ideas!

Well I solved the problem. This is one I haven't run into before. I saved a backup copy of the numbers in my V9 phone to the Sim card. And when you do that the phone for some reason tries to read your numbers from the Sim. And the Sim does not have as much information as the phone does. It has trouble knowing which is a home phone number or mobile, etc. So the answer was to delete all the numbers from the Sim card.
I have them backed up in Phone Tools anyway so it is not a prob.
Am going to leave this post up in case anyone runs into the same trouble.
