Will a Boost sim work in my RIZR z3?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I realize that Boost is on the iDEN network, but in my mind think it would work.
...the only problem would most likly be the PTT feature.

All feed back is apprecaited.

Boost is IDEN, Motorola RIZR Z3 is a GSM phone, and while it does take a SIM card, it will not work. You may get it to turn on, and possibly recognize the SIM, but no functions of the phone will work, like calls, texting, etc.

If you are wanting to use this RIZR here in the U.S., your options are T-Mobile and AT&T (which used to be Cingular). You may be able to find a local GSM provider, like Centennial, it just depends on your area.

do you know if either Tmobile or AT&T offers a one year service plan?

You would have to check with them. I have heard that AT&T does, but they are not easy to find.
