AFAIK there is only Z310i (900/1800/1900) and Z310a (850/1800/1900), so does this mean the firmware versions listed on the Wotan page can be used for either the "i" or the "a" models? Thanks in advance. |

For me, it was important to get rid of that stupid crackling noise everytime the phone connects a call, so the flash already satisfied my needs. |

Are audio quality improvements only for removing the crackling noise during call connection, or are there any additional audio quality improvements for the duration of the inbound/outbound call? On both the caller/called party? Also, did you notice any reception improvements after upgrading firmware/debranding? I've read reviews that the Z310 has weaker reception strength than other SE's.... Thanks again! |
(BTW, are you still using it?)

Reception isn't the best to begin with on the Z310, and I don't notice too much of a difference. Relying on bars on the signal meter is always dodgy anyway; I wish there's a netmonitor mode like my M55. (BTW, are you still using it?) |

Hey, you can also convert your Z710i to W710i also. It would be a fun one to try. |
