Hi, you can refer to Softbank's information on using 3G handsets: http://mb.softbank.jp/mb/en/service_area/
So roaming outside Japan with a valid Softbank USIM (contract) shouldn't be a problem in those countries listed above.

Besides, the phone was released in Europe by national Vodafone providers, too, supporting GSM and 3G (UMTS) band.

So, unless you have a (SIM-)locked 803T w/o the necessary USIM the 803T should be working in any of the supported GSM/UMTS band.

no ace... it does not but from what I have seen it has a kind of exterior OLED display like on the SE Z610, you can probably see the name of an incoming caller and music tracks but not a proper screen.
It seems to be identical to the 811T without the exterior music control pad thingy, I am wondering though if the HK firmware would still have this outside display working ?? I am still trying to find out more about this phone but I have a feeling from the pictures it would be a major fingerprint magnet.

the external screen is hidden under the mirror surface and its looks kinda cool when it lights up.
it shows signal strength, battery status, time, dates and some small icons like silent mode or something like that.

from what i heard basically 810 811 813 r the same phone bacially

Does this phone still have QR code reader if it's flashed to another region? If you have an unlocked model is it possible to set up your own internet and email settings? Does the Chinese firmware allow Japanese text display/input?
Thanks!

i know it's prohibited to ask for unlocking cell phone in this forum but please mod I'm desperate to find a service. I've been looking everywhere including advertising sponsor in this forum but none of them list 813T yet.Since HK has the unlocked version already do you know anyone that can offer unlocking online?
