K1mm File transfer errors with MPT 4.5.1c

I am able to sync contacts and calendar and transfer pictures with image studio. I have done the 2742 and 2827 seem edits. Every time I try to transfer a ringtone with Melody studio or move a MP3/mid with File transfer studio I get an error. It seems I can only transfer jpgs. If I attempt to move a midi or MP3 I get either Processing Failed error or Request denied by phone (unsupported media type(0X4f)) error. This a Brand new Verizon K1m I recieved today. Any insight to resolving this would be greatly appreciated.

I decided to switch back to my V3m the K1m is going on ebay tomorrow.

Took it back to Verizon and got a LG VX8550LK for $30 more.
